The farm dogs: Boo-Boo, Abby and Rita!
Rylee on the tire swing..this sucker goes pretty high!
Grandpa Kohler giving the girls a ride on the John Deere
Here is where our adventure begins. Ryan thought he would take us to one of the places he used to go fishing at when he was a kid. We had to park the van, climb a fence, and walk a ways. Come to find out it had been a few years (quite a few) since he had been there and everything was a little different.
Us climbing the fence
We had to walk through a lot of tall grass and pokey weeds
Cow pie anyone????
Ryan carrying the girls over a ditch
..and what you dont see is him carrying Finn and I over the ditch as well...my hubby is the BEST!
Ryan found a little bridge that we could fish off of, but before we got to the bridge we had to walk down a watery hill...so, once again, here is Ryan carrying the girls down the hill..and no, he didn't carry me down this time..he did offer though!
A little farther down from the bridge we found a small stream that we decided to stop at and let the girls practice their casting. Unfortunately, by the time we got there, the sun was going down so Ryan didn't get to show us his mad fishing skills. But now that we know where to go...next time we will be sure to leave a little earlier so we have enough time for everyone to fish! I leave you with the rest of the pics from our journey!
