It's been a while
My Dad came to visit us this week from Southern California. Luckily, the weather was nice and didn't scare him away too much. Saturday, Rylee got baptized. It was a wonderful day and we are so proud of her. After the baptism, we had "brunch" (tacos) at our house and then we decided to drive up to "This is the Place" monument. Then we went to temple square and had a tour around the visitors center with 2 sister missionaries. One was from Peru and the other from Latvia. It was hard to understand what they were saying, but at the end of the tour they wanted to sing for us so they sang "I am a Child of God," and I truly think that music is the universal language. We could understand each and every word so clearly. It was beautiful. Then we finished off the day with dinner at Applebees. Then on Sunday we went and had picnic lunch at Vivian Park in Provo Canyon. The weather was warm, but the wind was blowing so it made it a little chilly. It was a great weekend and I am so glad my Dad was here to share it with us. I added some pictures of me and my mom and dad...I'm not sure who I look like more.

Congratulations to Rylee on her baptism. I love those moments that bring family together. How fun that your mom and dad could be there for the festivities!

cute pictures--that cake looked fun, did you make it? I agree, you look a lot like your mom and your dad...and I can't believe Riley is 8!!! Tell her congratulations!
Please give Rylee our congrats! I can't believe her hair is so long. It grows so fast.
You got the best of both families in looks, but you're short like your great grandma Elsie. It's hard to tell who Finn looks like, I'm seeing your dad and his other grandma's family, but I'm sure he'll change. I'm glad you had fun with your mom and dad; your dad looks relaxed and happy.
What a memorable week! I'm so proud of Rylee. She is so pretty. I love her dress. You are such a fun mom...I love all the pictures you posted of the park and temple grounds.
You definatly look like your dad. How are your brothers? Did they make it out?
